The visit of Jarosław Pietras,
the Polish Minister for European Affairs.

June 20-22nd, 2005 the Minister for European Affairs of Poland Mr.

Jarosław Pietras visited Washington D.C. The main purpose of his visit was to take part in a seminar “The implications of EU Enlargement for International Trade and Investment”, organized by the European Institute in Washington D.C. Minister Pietras met also high ranking representatives of the US administration and experts in European affairs. He presented Polish views on important international issues concerning the European Union and relations with the United States.

Minister Pietras briefed his American partners about the achievements and challenges Poland is facing after one year of membership in the EU.
