Presenting the Polish Commander Cross of the Order of Merit to Congressman Jack Quinn

On Wednesday, November 17th His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Washington D.C., Przemysław Grudziński presented the Polish Commander Cross of the Order of Merit to Congressman Jack Quinn.

Since 1993 J.Quinn represented New York’s 27th District in the US Congress - the city of Buffalo, county of Chautauqua and part of the county of Erie, where approximately 20 percent of the voters are of Polish origin.

J.Quinn actively promoted Polish interests in the US Congress. He supported Polish access to NATO and was among the Congressmen whose legislative activity promoted Poland in the United States. As a Congressman J.Quinn worked and cooperated with many Polish organizations in his constituency. His work influenced Polish-American relations.
