| Polish special military units will join US-led military campaign. When the American request came, the Polish authorities made their decision immediately and without hesitation. Poland's concrete political answer to September 11th was Warsaw Conference on Combating Terrorism, which gathered leaders from all Central European countries. Our concrete military response is to send troops to fight terrorism. The logical chain of events is not only a sign of Poles' enduring friendship towards the United States but also constitutes a proof of maturity of Polish democracy and its readiness to protect the values Poles and Americans share.
