        On November 17, 2008 Andrzej Kremer, undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania Egidijus Meilūnas. He informed the Ambassador that both Polish authorities as well as public opinion are surprised to hear that certain Lithuanian political groups have called into question the loyalty to the Republic of Lithuania of two MPs of Polish nationality who have become members of the lower house of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania as representatives of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania due to the fact they have Polish Charters.         On 18th November 2008, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, met Mr Abdullah Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan during the years 2001-2006. Mr Abdullah currently holds the position of General Secretary of the Ahmad Shah Massoud Foundation, named after the legendary anti-Soviet guerrilla leader. [ more ]
